ABOUT THE EVENT

3,000 Reps of Remembrance is an annual WOD in memory of the victims and heroes of the September 11th 2001 terror attacks. This will be our fourth year of hosting this event.

This year we are doing 3,015 reps: 3,000 reps for the number of life’s lost and 15 (1 for each year) for the anniversary of 9/11. The WOD will increase by 1 rep each year.

The WOD: In teams of 4, 6 or 8, athletes will complete 3,015 burpees between them. Reps can be split however you see fit but only two athletes can work at any one time. This WOD is open to anyone and athletes of abilities. Burpees can be scaled to down ups (burpee without the jump) or air squats. The WOD will begin with a two minute silence.

To mark the 15th anniversary of 9/11, a few of us will be taking on the brutal and most famous Crossfit Hero WOD ‘Murph’ This can be done solo or in pairs.
Feel free to join us from 17.30-18.30

100 pull ups
200 press ups
300 squats
1 mile run
(optional 20lb weight vest)
