ABOUT THE EVENT

23rd of February is the 6th year anniversary that the fouder of WODOM Functional Box deployed to Pol-e Khomri, Afganistan.
Unfortunatelly he returned home without two friends and fellow soldiers. (Judit Ábrahám Pappné, posthumous lieutenant and György Kolozsvári, posthumous lieutenant)
We would like to show high respect towards all soilders who were killed in action in Afganistan or Iraq.

WOD: “MURPH”
-For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run

Dress Code:
-soldiers and police officers: battle dress uniform and boots
Optional: Combat vest and helmet
-civils: usual training clothes
Optional: boots
Weight vest for solidaritry

Rules:
-The first run has to be performed in formation if you are a soldier or a police officer. Helmets (if you have one) are compulsary for both runs and the first quater of all workouts (25 pull ups, 50 push ups, 75 squats). Combat vest is compulsary during the whole WOD.
-Civils may join to run in formation if they wish. If they make the decision to wear weight vest, that it is compulsary during the the whole WOD.

If you are unable to travel or live very far, but you are inspired to do the WOD, do it at your box and please send us a picture or a video.
