ABOUT THE EVENT

The Athens Throwdown is a two-day event powered by CrossFit Kallithea.

Athletes will compete in following categories:

– Elite/Scaled Men & Women

– Master Men & Women (35-39, 40-44, 45+years old).

Finals will be held in Athens 2 & 3 of May 2015.

 

There are 3 qualification WODs and the athletes should have submitted their scores until the 22/02/2015 21:00 Athens, Greece time.

 

DETAILS FOR WOD Q1:

80 Wall balls 9/6kg (20/14lbs), target: 3,00/2,75m (10/9ft)
60 pull ups (female scaled jumping pull ups)
40 Front Squat (you can squat clean)
20 Facing burpees over bar

You ve got to face the bar on burpees. Lateral are not accepted.

DETAILS FOR WOD Q2:

Establish max load in the following complex for 5 rounds of:
12 Deadlift
9 Hang Power Clean
6 Shoulder to Overhead

Same load same bar in all 5 rounds

Time cap: 15mins

Score : reps x weight

E.g. (12+9+6=27reps )x 5 = 135reps x weight

Unbroken is NOT asked.

In 10 MINS window you have to complete :
50 Toes to Bar (30reps for scaled)
30 Thrusters
In the remaining time you row for as many kcal as possible.
